Flint Michigan – The Ultimate Fighting Academy, the best Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Gym in Michigan, will send several youth representatives to the first annual NOK OUT charities event. The event deemed the “warrior classic” is a charity youth grappling tournament that will include Jiu Jitsu Gi and No-Gi formats benefiting the Greater Lansing Food Bank and Toys for Tots.

 

Andres Garcia, head instructor at the UFA MMA Gym will attend the event as well. Andres says “we not only train hard and learn life lessons in this great sport but our MMA Gym supports communities”, “we are happy to make the short trip to Lansing and represent not only UFA and Flint but also to be ambassadors of Mixed Martial Arts and give to the Greater Lansing Food Bank and Toy for Tots”. The NOK OUT charities is putting this event on in association with the Elite Federation of Grapplers. EFG always runs a good program so everyone attending from the Flint area Ultimate Fighting Academy MMA Gym is excited to be part of this tournament.

 

The event will be held Saturday August 7th at Waverly High School 160 Snow Road, Lansing Michigan. Weigh-ins will take place between 8:30 and 9:30 AM with the action starting at 10:00 AM sharp. This event is also a qualifier for the Team USA vs. Team Canada and the NOK OUT National Jiu Jitsu Championships. We invite everyone to come on down to participate or just watch the UFA MMA Gym Youth in this charity grappling event. And remember discounts for bringing a non-perishable food items or an unwrapped toy.
